Proofing: I will check your manuscript or document for typos, spelling errors, and capitalization. All documents are set up in Word and I use track changes so you can easily see what I’ve changed. I will not change your voice and you are free to reject changes and suggestions.
Copy Edits: I will check for typos, spelling errors, capitalization, grammar, punctuation, continuity errors, and clarity. If a sentence or paragraph is awkward or unclear, I will suggest changes. All documents are set up in Word and I use track changes so you can easily see what I’ve changed. I will not change your voice and you are free to reject changes and suggestions.
Website/Blog: Changing or upgrading your site? I will check to ensure that your links work, you haven’t unintentionally duplicated widgets, no pages are missing, and of course, provide basic copy editing.
Material for editing: I am happy to work on your story or book, blog post, or article.
Genres: Romance, mystery, urban fantasy, and infant and toddler picture and story books.
Pricing and Payment: Copy edits and proof reading are charged by the page. I consider one page to be 250 words so a 50, 000 word document will be be treated as a 200 page document for pricing purposes. Copy edits are $1.50US per page and proofing is $1US a page.
